The portable Avoximeter 1000E system provides rapid, accurate Oximetery assessment during cardiac catheterization procedures. In less than 10 seconds, total hemoglobin concentration and oxyhemoglobin fraction are measured, and oxygen concentration calculated. These quantitative measurements aid in the diagnosis and detection of intracardiac and great-vessel shunts.

Patented, state-of-the-art optics use multiple wavelengths to yield accurate measurement of: Fractional O2 saturation, O2 content, Total Hemoglobin. Ideal for trending “Step-Ups” in O2 Saturation while advancing catheters in right heart procedures. Measures and displays differences in oxygen saturation between adjacent anatomical sites. Utilizes the Fick Principle to calculate cardiac output.

    Simple, two-step test method using single-use cuvettes for maintenance-free convenience and no sample preparation. Room-temperature storage. Requires only 50µL of whole blood, supporting blood conservation protocols.
  • Compliance and connectivity facilitated
    Stores patient and operator ID, test results, date/time, anatomical site and lot numbers. Simple two-point optical QC and stored QC and calibration results. User-defined security features assure result integrity for reporting and compliance. Connectivity to LIS and point-of-care data management systems.
