Key Accountabilities

•    Deploy marketing strategy in EEMEA derived from Corporate Strategy.

•    Define, develop and implement a marketing plan and marketing tools for the Werfen solutions in the EEMEA area and act as a first level marketing reference for distributors to support the local marketing plans.

•    Launch products and solutions in line with the Company strategy, define pricing recommendation, and manage marketing activities.

•    Provide all necessary and updated marketing information and tools (eg. presentations, health economic tools, etc.) to affiliates, channel managers, distributors, KAMs and Customer Support to assist them in achieving the business objectives.

•    Provide product updates within the EEMEA department.

•    Review and update the product price list.

•    Collect data on competition in collaboration with all stakeholders in EEMEA with the objective of analyzing, mapping and communicating the key findings and providing recommendations.

•    Collect scientific information in scientific events (congresses, seminars, symposia...) to identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders, scientific information that reinforce the product value.

•    Create, maintain and develop a network of Key Opinion Leaders in the areas of responsibility.

•    In collaboration with the Communication Team, plan, organize, promote and actively participate in scientific events to strengthen the scientific knowledge, image and establish the Werfen solutions as the preferred option in patient diagnostic.

•    Work with Werfen SBUs and coordinates with advisors in identifying and characterizing customer needs as well as proposing product improvements, modifications, and new developments.

•    Design, plan, organize and facilitate education programs including dissemination of international guidelines to EEMEA stakeholders.

•    Co-facilitate the Application Training Program taking care of scientific aspects.

•    Collaborate with the channel managers and KAMs, advising the most suitable product solution and in ongoing negotiations in complex and/or new solutions.

Networking/Key relationships

Internal: SBU - Sales – Customer Support Department – ICS – Supply Chain – Communication

External: Clients – Users – Suppliers – Distributors.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position

•        Education: Master’s Degree in scientific disciplines. A postgraduate course in Marketing is a plus.

•        Experience:

  • at least 3-year experience in Blood Banks or Transfusion and Transplant centers
  • at least 2-year experience in the Marketing Department of a multinational company in the IVD or Medical Device industry.

•        Additional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge in Transfusion and Transpalnt - or at least one of the two - is a must.
  • Knowledge of Marketing
  • Business acumen
  • IT skills: Microsoft Office, SAP
  • Language: fluent English is a must.
