The Withdrawal Agreement Bill has now passed both the House of Commons and the House of Lords review. This is expected to be approved by the European Parliament on the 29th January 2020, avoiding a 'Hard Brexit' situation. This all but guarantees we will be leaving the European Union at the end of January 2020, at which point a Transition Period will commence and last until December 2020.

In this period nothing will change from current practices in terms of Import/Export Duties, Tax Regulations or Regulatory requirements. Despite this reality, in order to guarantee continuity of our supply and ensure our customers are not affected by any last minute decision, our European logistics centre in Roncello has begun shipping stocks to our Warehouse in Warrington, allowing us to continue delivering locally for the short term.

After the January 2020, we will be implementing measures to ensure that by the end of the Transition Period, Werfen Ltd is ready to continue providing excellent service to all of our customers in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
