Job Summary 

As Business Unit Manager, you are responsible of leading and managing the business unit expansion by developing strategies to achieve objectives, increase market share and ensure the correct implementation on the field. This position adds value to the organization by leading the way, bringing innovation and focus on growth, considering market trends and customer insights to evolve the business. 

Key Accountabilities 

• Define the strategy based on customer segmentation and set goals to increase awareness. 

• Design the Marketing Plan, Strategic Response, Tactics, Communication strategies and define the budget needed to implement. 

• Communicate and implement the business plan within the commercial teams. 

• Responsible for the P&L assuring profitability of the business, supervising and monitoring the income statement. 

• Correct Management of Marketing budgets, Samples, investments, demos, etc. 

• Conduct and develop in concordance with commercial effectiveness area, analysis to define potential and addressable markets (Market Research, surveys, audits, etc.) 

• Close monitoring of main competitors strategies. 

• Development of Key Opinion Leaders and speakers to increase awareness. 

• Launch of new products. 

• Product Lifecycle Management 

• Leading the development of promotional materials, tools and guidelines for commercial teams.

 

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: 

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, engineering, finance, chemist or biomedical sciences. 

• 2 Years of In-depth knowledge and experience in healthcare industry (diagnostics, pharma, medical devices, life sciences) or consulting. 

• Strategic product and portfolio management. 

• Business development.

Skills & Capabilities: 

• Market segmentation. – Validating current accounts for defining the key hospitals and labs which represents the priorities for the business unit.

• Cross-functional collaboration - Partnering with commercial teams to guarantee excellence in execution. 

• Analytical thinking - To have a deeply understanding of patient journeys to identify the main barriers and generate specific action plans based on specific needs. 

• Strategic Vision - Define the path to increase and develop the market with a long-term view.

 • Strong customer relationship skills 

• Leadership abilities. 

• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) 

• SAP 

• CRM 

• English proficiency: Intermediate (C1 – According to global guidelines) 

Travel requirements: 

• 40%. (Local and International)
