About the Position

Position Summary

Reporting to the VP Global HR & Comms, Lucía del Moral, and dotted line to the VP Commercial Operations of LATAM, Luis Faus, this role will reinforce the HR function as astrategic and trusted business partner and advisor who provides value and contributes to the achievement of business outcomes . This position will provide HR support to the GMs of Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, ROLA (Rest of Latin America), GM Clinical Marketing and to their respective Leadership Teams. Will also manage all HR activities with the purpose of standardizing and aligning HR policies, procedures, and frameworks within the region in alignment with global HR practices.

 

Summary of Accountabilities:

This position entails working in close collaboration with VP Commercial Operations LATAM, Luis Faus, and the VP Global HR & Comms, to develop a regional HR Strategy aligned to the global HR strategic plan, that will support the business in achieving its 3YSP (3-year strategic plan).

Within this strategy he or she will be accountable for executing all Global HR related processes and projects such as C&B, Talent (including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and talent management), culture, engagement, and organization effectiveness.

The HR strategy for the region will combine local execution of Global HR Projects with the design and execution of local ones.

 

Key Accountabilities:

· Will form part of LATAM´s Leadership Team and as such will bring an HR perspective to the table.

· Will become a highly credible and trusted business advisor whose opinion is sought for advice and guidance.

· This role will provide HR coaching and consulting support to the Region.

· Will design strategic talent resourcing and workforce plans, as well as development and retention programs.

· Will identify and define organization and technical capabilities with the business to drive results.

· Maintain ongoing dialogue and build positive and long-term relationships with different stakeholders and their respective teams tounderstand their business challenges and opportunities and leverage HR solutions and interventions where and when necessary.

  • Drive an Integrated Talent Strategy ensuring that LATAM has the right talent, at the right time for the right positions and markets with special emphasis on development and retention. In coordination with GMs:

- Select, interview, recruit, and onboard top talent in the marketplace with the support of external vendors.

- Conduct a Learning Need Analysis and define & implement a regional development plan leveraging internal and external resources that will build capability across the organization and raise the bar in individual performance.

- Deploy the Global Talent Management process to identify key and emerging talent, and design programs to develop and retain our high potentials.

  • Will co-design Global HR Solutions together with the Global HR Team.
  • Leverage enterprise HR Systems and tools that will support the implementation of HR processes providing relevant and timely metrics that will allow us to keep track of and monitor our HR performance.
  • Ensure LATAM receives frequent updates on the work the HR function is progressing forward , leveraging all internal communication channels: meetings, email, the intranet and creating new ones if needed.
  • Will form part of different HR Forums such as the HR Governance Forum and will play a proactive and dynamic role in the Global HR Team.
  • Become an Ambassador of Werfen in LATAM raising awareness of the Company by delivering presentations that socialize the brand and Werfen’s business agenda across universities, consultancy companies, candidates, etc.

- Multi-cultural working relationships: can work with a variety of different people, coming from different backgrounds and perspectives

 

Knowledge & Experience:

- Minimum 10 years of work experience in an HR dept.

- Has min experience of 5 years as an HRD.

- Ideally, has already experience in a regional role, preferably in LATAM.

- Has multicultural experience having lived in different countries in LATAM.

- Previous experience in managing HR Systems.

- Knowledge of HR frameworks (culture, engagement, organization effectiveness, learning & development, talent) and HR functions: C&B, recruitment, labour relations, etc.

- Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

- Willing to relocate to either Barcelona or Brazil (Sao Paolo).
