About the Position

On one hand, participating in inventory management strategy analyses, product segmentation, and safety stock parameterization. On the other hand, providing support to the Supply team in some analyses for calculating needs for specific distribution centers and business units by creating purchase orders. Simultaneously, assisting in feasibility analyses to automate the creation of orders.

 

Key Accountabilities

• She/he will learn the different variables and analyses required for planning purchasing needs.

• She/he will calculate future purchasing needs and create orders in the system.

• She/he will become familiar with historical data on consumption, sales and forecasts.

• She/he will assist us in building a product segmentation that allows us to dimension different safety stock levels based on various variables.

• She/he will help teams in the implementation of strategies.

• She/he will aid in analyzing the suitability of automating the creation of orders for certain product categories.

• She/he will collaborate with different supply planners, gaining knowledge of the various scenarios in each business unit, aiming to propose process harmonizations.

 

Networking/Key relationships

This role involves communication with key stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Finance, Warehouse, and Customer Service.

 

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

• Education: Business Administration (ADE), Engineering, Mathematics, or Supply Chain (business or technical training).

• No experience required, but if she/he has it, it is a plus.

 

Skills & Capabilities:

• Highly familiar with analytical tools (advanced Excel skills are necessary); proficiency in other data management programs such as Minitab, Python, Power BI is a plus.

• Good communicator with strong relationship-building skills.

• Advanced proficiency in English is required.
