Product Manager/Product Owner

General Functions

• Defines the vision and implements market requirements for Modulab (LIS) and related IT solutions (if applicable).
• Reports to the VP of Clinical Software and assumes end-to-end product management responsibility for Modulab.
• Prepares global marketing support programs for on-market products and defines similar programs for in-development products.
• Coordinates commercial implementation with Affiliates.
• Provides Marketing assistance to field personnel and customers.
• Takes the lead on international initiatives to accelerate the business (e.g. strategic partnerships and alliances, creation and sharing of best practices and guidelines, etc.).
• Directly supports the set-up process of new LIS business in new territories.

Impact on Development Processes

• Gathers feature requests, schedules releases, and coordinates sprints.
• Identifies user needs, helps customers understand business value and works with cross-functional teams to manage product releases.
• Must be able to travel when is needed, up to 25% of the time

Experience

• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management

• Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager.

• Proven knowledge of Laboratory Workflow and Laboratory Information Systems.

• Overall understanding of technologies used in the product. Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

• Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.
