Overview
Job Summary
Responsible for driving the implementation of marketing and business plans for the Transfusion Business Unit across Spain and Portugal, ensuring alignment between product strategy, commercial priorities, and customer needs.
The role combines core Product Management responsibilities with extended Business Unit ownership, including performance monitoring, cross-functional coordination, and execution of key initiatives to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Acts as a key interface between Marketing, Sales, and other internal stakeholders, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and driving their effective execution across the region. Supports the commercial organization through value-based positioning, competitive insights, and market-driven initiatives, with a strong focus on customer needs and business impact.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
- Own and ensure execution of the Business Unit plan (Spain & Portugal), monitoring sales performance, revenue and margin evolution.
- Performance tracking: track monthly KPIs (sales, tenders, activities, pipeline) to identify gaps vs plan and propose corrective actions.
- Lead cross-functional coordination across Marketing, Sales and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities and execution.
- Support key accounts when required and ensure customer needs are reflected in BU actions and strategy.
- Develops and implements tactics and tools to achieve goals.
- Prioritize and drive key business initiatives based on impact and market needs
- Prepare the launch of new products: market research, positioning, competition, publications and value proposition.
- Stay updated on the market needs and the competitor’s analysis.
- Provide the commercial network with the necessary arguments to adequately counter objections from competitors and customers based on value selling method.
- Prepare the necessary marketing material: brochures, catalogs, and presentations.
- Prepare product information necessary for each case, such as product registrations, technical data sheets, safety files, inserts, and anything else mandatory.
- Prepare and participate in Work-Shops, Congresses, Scientific Sessions and other events.
- Encourage the evaluation of products to generate scientific articles.
- Participate in the preparation of the contests, writing the technical part. In collaboration with Sales Application Specialist.
- Keep all the data in the computer system (SAP) up to date to guarantee the reliability of the zGP.
- Keep TEAMS database updated, as well as the Company's website.
- Work with Logistics to manage all types of product incidents: back orders, stock dimension, purchase equipment forecast, among others.
- Maintain contact with those represented in matters relating to technical issues, incidents, product information. He/She holds regular follow-up meetings and attends meetings and courses of Distributors.
- Maintain a fluid relationship with the different KOL and support the commercial network in the visits that require it.
- Train the different members of the commercial network (AM's, GA's, KAM's and SAS's).
- Where there is no Product Specialist, assume its responsibilities.
- Maintain constant contact with represented companies, communicating forecasts, technical issues, incidents, and product information. Hold regular follow-up meetings and attend Distributor’s trainings.

Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
• Education: University Degree Biology / Chemistry /Biotech desirable
• Experience:
• Additional Skills/Knowledge:
o Specific training in Marketing
o Language: Spanish and English fluent , Portuguese desirable
