Job Summary
With direct report to the market manager/sales manager this position requires developing and implement in short, medium and long-term relationship with customers in order to achieve sales objectives, as well as sales strategy for the following markets: Chemistry, Environment and Agrofood. Therefore, the instrument users should have a high level of training.
Key Accountabilities
• Manage customer satisfaction reducing complaints
• Contribute to planning marketing actions in the sales region
• Understanding and anticipating customer needs in the instrumentation field
• Visiting existing customers and looking for new ones
• Updated on new developments in the analytical instrumentation sector with respect to the product line available
• Developing sectors and subsectors in the Chemistry and Agrofood Market
Networking/Key relationships
This position requires cooperating with the different product managers, for the development of the sales operations in the region as well as the organization of marketing action plans for promoting the different products and to increase the company visibility.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
· Position requires a degree in a related science field, such as applied science or engineering
· Experience in sales is important to help accomplish the task quickly
· Technical knowledge in the analytical instrumentation sector
· English and Spanish language knowledge
· Focused in results
· Self-motivated
· Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time (domestic)
· Able to use common computer programs such as office and windows
· CRM user
Skills & Capabilities:
This position requires very good human skills in order to create a good relationship with customer as well as sales and business capabilities to accomplish the sales. Also, an overall technical vision of the product is important, thus this helps to create a strong relation with the customer.
