Overview
The IT Product Manager defines product improvements following the market requirements. Prepares marketing and training programs for the IT Products of the BU. Coordinates the IT Projects with field sales organization and technical services. Provides marketing assistance to field personnel and customers.
Responsibilities
- Acts as key marketing technical liaison on all product lines, providing product and regulatory information to sales, service and customers.
- Provides regulatory support to key customer accounts, assisting them in the deployment of IT products in their laboratories.
- Interfaces with all levels of management to independently resolve conflicts/problems with company peers.
- Maintains regular communications with technical services (IT Ops) on troubleshooting and improvement with the BU HITS Products.
- Provides detailed technical training for sales staff.
- Works with field sales staff to develop business model and sales strategies required to introduce new products and positioning existing ones.
- Prepares and coordinates presentations to customers and marketing actions related to the BU HITS Products & Services.
- Leads and organizes work groups formed by KOL, customers and Werfen staff to improve the functionalities of the BU HITS Products & Services.
- Contributes to planning and creation of social media promotional materials.
- Keeps updated about new trends in IT Solutions in order to apply them to the future product developments.
- Keeps updated about all advantages of Werfen products vs competitors IT Products & Services.
- Manages and drives internal projects with minimal supervision.
- Response to public Tenders, authorization of offers, billing tracking and milestones
- Ensures compliance with Werfen Code of Ethics.

Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
Basic Studies:
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences:
Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, or similar
or
- Degree in Computer/Biomedical Engineering with complementary training in health
Ideal Additional Training:
- Master's in Medical Informatics / eHealth / Bioinformatics / Health Data Science
- Specialization or practical experience in AI applied to the health sector
- Knowledge in interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, LOINC, etc.
Language:
- Spanish native and fluent Portuguese and English
Desired Professional Experience
- 5+ years of experience in digital health environments / clinical IT
- Experience in clinical laboratory projects, especially related to software, LIS, diagnostic support systems
- Participation in the development or management of AI-based products
- Familiarity with clinical processes, care workflows, and medical decision-making
- Ideally, previous experience in a multidisciplinary environment (clinical + technical team)
Key Technical Knowledge
- Applied artificial intelligence (machine learning, clinical NLP, predictive models)
- Health system architectures, HIS, LIS, clinical data integration
- Handling of standards: HL7, FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance: MDR, GDPR, ISO 13485, etc.
