Overview

Job Summary

The main responsibility of the Financial Analyst is to provide accurate and data based information on company’s financial performance, in order to help company make well informed decisions.

The position involves overseeing accounting processes and producing relevant financial reports and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Monthly closing and reporting for the assigned entities:

Prepare and post month end accruals.

Review accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, etc.

Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.

Reconcile Intercompany transactions.

Reporting package: P&L’s, Cash Flow, BS, Investment, Capex, Headcount, …

Manage and comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings.

  • Tracking of operating expenses.
  • Preparation of operational performance reports with recommendations for corrective action. Identification of opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Implement and monitor policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with external auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Other external reporting to Government bodies.
  • Transfer pricing analysis of the intercompany transactions.
  • Reporting of Non Financial Information.
  • Continuous improvement of the quality, reliability and responsiveness of the information provided.

 

Networking/Key relationships

The position requires interaction with:

  • Different company departments (Administration, Logistics, HR, Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal & Tax, Internal Audit, Sales & Marketing…).
  • The affiliates of the Group.
  • Management.
  • Third parties as auditors and consultants.


 

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Bachelors’ and/or MBA degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in accounting and finance (auditing, consulting, industry, …).
  • Knowledge and experience in tax accounting and/or Non Financial Information reporting will be valued.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets (i.e. Excel), databases, MS Office and financial software applications.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP and/or EPM tools (e.g OneStream) would be an advantage.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
