Field Service Engineer (Electron Microscopy)

As a Technical Service Specialist (TSS) on Electron Microscopy, your will be part of a highly skilled, dynamic team, in continuous contact with the latest technology and the opportunity to develop your professional career.

Our Service Engineers are essential to ensure the company growth and to keep our market leadership, providing the highest quality service to our clients. As a technician in Electron Microscopy, you will become a specialist in the most advanced technology equipment to carry integral support for clients both in industrial fields and in research centers.

Responsibilities:

 Perform preventative maintenance, repair and/or installation of instruments at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts.

 Perform operational training to the clients after the installation.

 Diagnose system failures and implement the best solution.

 Give technical support for microscopy instruments to other engineers in Spain and Portugal, when required.

 For high complexity interventions, coordinate with the internal or external key players to solve the service call in the most efficient way.

 Coordinate with other departments of the organization to meet the client’s needs.

 Contribute to develop service agreements and inform the clients about new products.

 Support marketing activities such as exhibitions. Skills and requirements:

 Phd degree or master's degree within the science field -- e.g. engineering or physics.

 Flexible, structured and a real team player, capable to work autonomously.

 Knowledge of electricity, electronics and/or IT.

 Experience in Electron Microscopy is a plus.

 Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in service

 Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

 Fluent Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.

 Availability to travel across Spain and Portugal (40% of their time)
