About the Position

Implementation of strategies:

  • Support in the implementation of those initiatives designated primarily by the C.I.O and IT Organization Director.
  • Follow-up on projects lead by the C.I.O., the IT Organization Director and the IT Systems Director.

Supervision and Analysis:

  • In collaboration with other key members of the local organization such as the General Manager or the Financial Controller, assure that the implementation of the different functionalities are accomplished.
  • Help employees create project timelines and deadlines.
  • Testing of new tools before implementation and propose improvements.
  • Supervise the activity performed by the IT Systems Specialist responsible for all IT infrastructure of Werfen México

Control the Service Level:

  • Develop and monitor KPI to evaluate the quality of the information and the level of
  • Usage of each application after its implementation.
  • Develop, maintain, and report the project plans status and other metrics for the different projects.
  • Manage Stakeholders expectations with the support from the General Manager and Financial Controller
  • Recommend training and development systems.
  • Training of users.
  • Support end users during implementation of any tool.
  • Make sure infrastructure requests (tickets) are resolved following the SLAs agreed.

 

Share Best Practices:

  • Diagnose potential organizational problem areas.
  • Identify needs from the local organization and proposed solutions best on the best practices / projects implemented at corporate level. Aim for standardization while understanding the local needs of Mexico and other LATAM affiliates.
  • Support mainly Mexico in the best practices sharing but leveraging on his/her experience to collaborate with other LATAM affiliates (Colombia, LATAM Distribution and Uruguay).
  • The capacity to effectively deploy projects affecting different areas and working together with multiple stakeholders is key to this position.
  • Create and be part of discussion forums orientated to the identification of ways of improving efficiency of processes and/or, quality of information.

Min Knowledge & Experience required for the position

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a PMO (Project Management Office) department within and industrial company (preferable the healthcare sector) or in a leading professional services firm (Consulting or Audit)
  • Rather than deep knowledge or specialization we request an important capacity to learn
  • Has demonstrated experience and a track record of success doing project management and implementation, overcoming resistance to change and being able to communicate in an efficient and effective way
  • Language fluency: English, Spanish are a must. Fluency in other language will be very much appreciated

 International Mobility

  • Required: Mobility within LATAM might be occasionally required.

Travel requirements

  • Internally within México and LATAM (mainly Colombia and occasionally Uruguay), when needed.
