This position reports to: Head of Marketing

Number of direct reports (and total number of team members) reporting to this position: no direct reports

Position Summary

Responsibility as the main internal contact for all internal and external communication tools and advertising materials for Werfen in Germany and Austria

Key Accountabilities

  • Main contact for all digital communication channels (e.g. Werfen Germany and Austria websites, intranet, newsletter and social media)
  • Coordinating the development, creation and, if necessary, translation of brochures, videos and other sales promotion materials (especially digital content)
  • Further development of the digital marketing offers with webinars in focus
  • Interface to and main contact for media partners, agencies and publishers
  • Idea generator and project manager for advertising and communication campaigns
  • Product management for digital promotional media (such as Werfen Touch, Werfen Academy and Werfen websites Germany & Austria)
  • Ensuring and maintaining brand identity and corporate design as a "brand manager"
  • Design of corporate appearances at trade fairs, congresses and other company events
  • Creation, coordination and management of the marketing budget in consultation with the manager

Internal Networking/Key relationships

To be determined based on department needs, to include interactions such as:

  • Main internal contact for all internal and external communication tools and advertising materials for throwing in Germany and Austria
  • Main contact for all digital communication channels

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Good knowledge of current and digital marketing trends in combination with pragmatism regarding possible implementation in the company
  • Strong strategic, conceptual and creative thinking
  • Good visualization skills combined with good knowledge of graphic design
  • Excellent communication skills in dealing with various target groups

Min Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Education: Successfully completed a degree in marketing / communication sciences or a comparable degree
  • Experience:
    • More than five years of professional experience in a comparable position (if possible, in the field of medical technology, healthcare or in-vitro diagnostics)
  • More than three years of experience in corporate communications / marketing / brand management (experience in event management would be an advantage)
  • Additional Skills/Knowledge:
  • Very good German and very good knowledge of spoken and written English (this also includes an excellent feeling for language)
    • Good knowledge of the common Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint
